The Namibian Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs is notifying young Namibians who applied for career chances in the Namibian Defence Force to look out for the shortlisted names for Recruits, Drivers, and Pilots Positions. Hence, the country-wide recruitment drive for Namibian Defence force members is expected to be finalized by next month.
The Namibian Defence Force (NDF) plans to recruit 1,500 new Members through the NDF recruitment planning committee across all 14 regions in January-March 2026. The Candidates will hear on Tuesday whether they have passed the assessments.

Namibian Defence Force 2026 Requirements
Requirement For all candidates (Recruits, Drivers and Pilots and NYS) Documents to bring along:
- Original Identification Card
- Full birth Certificate
- Medical health Passport for medical examination
- Dress code. Sports attire, including physical training shorts, T-shirts, and running shoes.
- Testing locations: Candidates will only be tested in the regions where they were shortlisted.
- all shortlisted candidates should come with pens.
