The Botswana Ministry of Education has completed the 2026 Form four Placement, with Students expected to report in End of February 2026/March 2026. The Ministry of Child Welfare and Basic Education, Botswana, will release the Form Four Placements for boarders and Day scholars. The Form 4 Selection process is currently ongoing. The public is reminded that the form four Botswana Selections commences after the release of the Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE) results. Students are advised to check their results on ther official portal of Ministry of basic education Botswana.
Furthermore, the ministry informs the public that it will communicate the opening dates for the 2026 Form Four once the selection process is complete.
Botswana Form Four Placement Results 2026
The Ministry of Child Welfare and basic education wishs to inform Junior Certificate candidates who merged their results that the admission process will be completed soon. After the Admission process, Botswana Basic Education officials will publish the Admission list for the 2026 academic year. MCWBE Botswana emphazised that all results hae gone through a careful verification and screening process ensure accuracy and fairness before publication. Form Four Admissions – JC Candidates who merged their Results 2026
The Ministry of Education and Skills Development wishes to inform Junior Certificate candidates who merged their results and those with incomplete results (Grade X) that the admission process is complete. All those whose names appear on the admission lists below are advised to contact their respective regional education offices with regard to their placement in senior secondary schools.
Information on all students placement will be available in all Secondary schools and regional education offices countrywide. The ministry has introduced a short messaging Service (SMS) notification, accessible from all three local mobile number phones Service providers.

Step 3: you will then receive information about your placement
Please note that the criterion used for placement was based on catchment areas and the need to balance school enrolments; therefore, all student transfers will be done at the school and regional office levels.
