NCHE 2026 Intake Results. The National Council for Higher Education, Malawi, will soon publish the Public Universities Selection Results for 2025/ 2026 academic year. NCHE Malawi will announce very shortly that the council of the Six public Universities has approved the release of the results of the 2025/2026 harmonized students selection. Advance Congratulations to all Selected candidates in Public Universities Selection 2025-2026. Wait, is it over for Malawi NCHE 2025-2026 Results? The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) will soon officially release the results of the 2025/2026 Public Universities Selection. This year, another milestone will be reached in the Malawi Higher Education Landscape and NHCE’s successful coordination of the Harmonized students Selection process.
NHCE 2025/2026 milestone highlights Mawis Continued efforts in promoting equal access to higher education. Annually, the Malawi Public Universities select students through the national Council for Higher Education (NCHE)based on students who performed exceptionally well in their Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) Examinations.
Public Universities Selection 2025-2026 Results, Malawi
This year, the National Council for Higher Education accepted applications until January 31, 2026. But the deadline was extended to Saturday, 7 February 2026, by NCHE officials. The main focus of the extension allows candidates who may not have completed their application or payment to do so within the new timeframe.

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) was established by an Act of Parliament No. 15 of 2011, with the primary Purpose of promoting and coordinating Education provided by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Malawi. One of NCHE’s mandates is to harmonize student selection into public universities.
