Batch 1 Released: Assessment of applicants is ongoing, and additional batches will be released in due course.
Applications still Open: Applications close on 30 January 2026.
Form 6 applicants: applications have been processed. However, final offers will only be confirmed upon receipt of official high school results.
Admission Offer Letters: Can be collected from SAS or requested via email admissions@sinu.edu.sb
Assessment is ongoing, so expect another batch to be published after applications close on 30 January 2026.
SINU Semester 1, 2026 Academic Dates and Graduation Information
The Solomon Islands National University (SINU) wishes to inform all students and members of the public of the following key dates for the semester 1, 2026 academic year.

Enrolment & Academic dates:
Official Enrolment Open: 2 February 2026
Enrollment Period: Four (4) Weeks
Lectures Commence: 2 March 2026
Graduation Information
Graduation applications: Now Open- closes 30 March 2026
Graduation ceremony: 30 April 2026.
Final year students are strongly advised to ensure all academic and financial requirements are met before submitting graduation applications.
We encourage all students to prepare early, as a high volume of enquiriesm enrolment, and graduation-related activities is expected.

Step 1: Collect the application form and Programme list from academic year 2026 sinu.edu.sb
Step 2: Pay the application feee $50 non refundable
Step 3: Submit the Deposit Receipt to Finance
Step 4: Submit your application via email.
Your application must include the following Requirements
- Completed SINU Application form
- Copy of SINU Payment receipt
- Certified copies of certificates, academic results or transcripts
- Certified passport-size photo
- Sponsors letter
- Certified birth certificate
- Reference/ employer letter

Additionally, please note that applicants listed for the Pre-Service Teaching Programmes and Diploma of Nursing Programme are required to sit for an entry exam at SINU. Stay tuned for announcements regarding the exam date, which will take place at the respective faculties.
