The Botswana Brigade and Technical Colleges 2026 Intake is officially open for eligible applicants seeking technical and vocational education opportunities across Botswana. The intake offers training in various trade and technical fields leading to National Credit and Qualifications Framework (NCQF) Level III, Level IV, and National Craft Certificate (NCC) qualifications. Applications are open through the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET).
The institutions offer vocational education in engineering, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, hospitality, and other technical fields. Training programs are available through numerous brigades and technical colleges located throughout the country.
How to Apply to Brigade And Technical Colleges August 2026 Intake
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following listed programmes the spaces available.
- Interested candidates should complete the attached application form
- The application fee is P50.00 (non-refundable) for all programmes payable at all public TVET Institutions.
- Completed application forms with attachments should be sent by post or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope.
Brigade and Technical Colleges General Requirements
- Interested applicants should be between 16-35 years
- For NCQF Certificate Level III, applicants must be in possession of a minimum of Junior Certificate/NCQF Level II or equivalent. (Duration: 12 months)
- For NCQF Certificate Level IV, applicants must have a minimum of NCQF Certificate Level III or Equivalent in the relevant field. (Duration: 12 months)
- For the National Craft Certificate (NCC), applicants must have a Trade Test B/NCQF Certificate Level IV or equivalent in the relevant vocational field. (Duration: 12 months).
- Applicants from disadvantaged groups and those with special needs are encouraged to apply. A valid assessment report should be attached.
- f) Candidates should apply for oNe program Only, failure to do so will result in the candidate being disqualified.
- g) Applicants who have benefited from Department of Tertiary Education Financing (DTEF) sponsorship before are not eligible to apply.
- h) Failure to disclose accurate information will result in the candidate being disqualified and their admission revoked.
- i) Certified copies of educational certificates, a certified copy of the Omang and proof of payment should be attached to the application.
Applications should reach the institutions not later than 10th July 2026.
