The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC) continues to strengthen its workforce through regular recruitment drives aimed at increasing police personnel across the country. RPNGC Recruitment 2026 Intake is the first police recruitment exercise scheduled for the 2026 training period. Successful applicants will undergo rigorous screening, testing, and training
The recruitment process is designed to identify qualified, disciplined, and committed individuals who can serve communities across Papua New Guinea.
As per the Police Regular recruit application 2026, Screening and Selection dates are for Eastern Highlands, Simbu, Jiwaka, Western Highlands, Enga, Southern Highlands, Hela, Manus, West New Britain, East New Britain, New Ireland and AROB Applicants only. Applicants only. Candidates have to know the result to know whether they are shortlisted for the next round or not.
The Officials will call for an Interview from this list based on rank or Marks.
RPNGC Recruitment 2026
Only the Names of the eligible candidates are listed in RPNGC recruitment shortlist 2025 along with the schedule date, attendance time and applicant number. if your name is not on the list, your application was unsuccessful, and you should not attend. All ineligible Aspirants will be turned away. to continue with your application, you must attend at the date and time listed and know your applicant number.
Eligible candidates for the Gulf must organize their transport & Accommodation during the selection centre at Bomana.
Requirement For Screening Appointment
- Candidates must bring the following documents
- National Identification Card (NID)
- Original Grade 12 School Leavers Certificate.
Requirements for Interview
- Original Grade 10 & 12 School Certificates, Transcripts and Statement of Results Must be original.
- NID and Birth Certificate.
- Three passport-size photos taken within the last three months
- Three (3) referee Details – Provide the name and mobile number of three referees who can be contacted. Unreachable referees will result in disqualification.
- Two (2) Reference letters. from employers, pastors, Teachers, lawyers, doctors, magistrates, etc.
Note: Failure to provide all the required documents outlined above will result in disqualification from the process.
RPNGC Police Recruitment List 2025 Selection process:
- Candidates advancing to the testing stage will be advised of their test schedule upon successfully completing the initial screening.
- Candidates progressing to the Interview stage will be required to meet their own police Clearance cost.

I am very interested to join the police to keep the law and order in this country especially my province East Sepik and other provinces as well and make sure there is no corruption and misbehaves and also to make sure the communuty that I’m living in must be trouble free.
